Rowleys Restaurant is a pub in Camperdown where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
My review would have potentially been higher as the restaurant appears nice with a nice menu, but the only staff member serving the bar and restaurant came across rude and made you feel like an inconvenience for being there (despite staying at the hotel), no conversation, very blunt and short responses. Witnessed extreme rudeness towards an elderly guest who purely asked for a table for one only to be told, there are none available and he would have to wait for one to be cleared and set (just a napkin and cuttlery) despite only 4 of the 15 or so tables being used. Very strange and rude, leaving the man upset and leaving. Frontline staff needs to do better as it reflects on the whole hotel. A word of advise for the staff member, life is too short to be doing something you dont enjoy - go find your passion, do things that make you smile. But if something bad happened in your day and it was a one off, I hope you are OK.
Have only ever eaten buffet breakfast here. Something very comforting about this place. Service has always been faultless. Lighting is a bit dark though
Ate here for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was nice but pricey. Breakfast buffet was also nice, however they should be onto things when they run out (eg milk, scrambled eggs).
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
