I waited almost half an hour for a piece of toast (that wasn’t toasted), avocado (that was literally brown and grey), a piece of bacon and hashbrown (that was cold) 😅 literally wild, and zero acknowledgment of it by staff. I’ve worked hospo for years and I would have been embarrassed taking that plate out, I was embarrassed looking at it knowing ice spent 25$ on that - the only thing that was enjoyable was the fact that didn’t mess up my coffee and I hate being that person to leave a review but there was just zero reception to my feedback from staff or care tbh 😅 sad because it’s not a bad place in the square, not overwhelming in sound but they’ve just completely dropped the ball and it was not a busy morning.
Attended here yesterday, ordered two toasties, a banana bread and 2 milkshakes. One toastie arrived and they had forgotten the second toastie. We went up and asked and then waited 22minutes before asking again to which they said we had been put to the back of the line. We stated that wasn’t really good enough when we had ordered almost an hr beforehand and they got the order wrong which they said; “yeah it isn’t really good enough,” but did nothing about it. The staff were sitting on their phones, no care or table service and then when we decided not to bother with bringing us out the toastie as there were still 3 more orders before ours, I saw the two staff members behind the counter looking and pointing at us whilst clearly talking about us! There was NO effort to rectify their issue and their fault. There was NO apology. I will not be going back there and I’ll be telling all friends and family to stay away.
First and last time here. Filthy tables everywhere. Staff standing and chatting when they could be clearing. Staff have continually walked past the mess and not picked anything up. Coffee came after 35 minutes in a takeaway cup? And already lukewarm. Muffin was still frozen. Such a good place for a cafe in a busy shopping centre but service, good and atmosphere disappointing.
First time coming to this wonderful cafe. Was warmly welcomed by the kind and wonderful staff. I ordered the breaky burger and an iced vanilla latte and they both tasted amazing and the latte was the best latte I have ever had. I would absolutely recommend this cafe and I know I'll definitely will be back.
The food is very good and the coffee as well. I thought I'd give this new cafe a try and was not disappointed. Set aside from the hustle and bustle but well worth trying. The corn fritters were delicious.
