Pastoral Hotel

Went there for my sons first birthday in the upstairs function room the Saturday just gone :) the food was amazing, the staff were so friendly and lovely and they let us in to decorate as soon as they opened which was greatly appreciated! The only reason I can't give a full 5 stars is the unbearable heat in that room! We were warned the room could get "warm" but it was near on unbearable! We had guests preferring to stay outside on the balcony in the February summer heat rather than come back inside. There is a wall mounted air con on one wall which is basically useless and its such a shame...I don't know why that room is a furnace or why that air con doesn't work but if u have a function in this room prepare to enter a sauna once guests start arriving! That being said everything else was PERFECT and I loved the food and the staff and the room itself...its just so hot!

First time back here in 25 years.Absolutely stunning atmosphere and the food is excellent.Great to see a brilliant range of gluten free meals.Even the sauces at gf.Will definitely come back.Prices were very reasonable too.👍👍👍

Great local establishment that serves delicious pub fare. Had the lamb shanks and sirloin. Just as good, if not better than most Sydney pubs - just without the ridiculously high prices. Drinks were also reasonably priced. Family friendly and obviously very popular with the locals. If you’re visiting Dubbo and want an easy and relaxed place to eat - this Hotel is the one.

Amazing! I have previously eaten meals via take away or delivery from The Pastoral when in town and the food is A+ on its own, we decided to dine in today and wow! I am rarely impressed to this extent, the food was amazing as usual, but the establisment itself was so well set up spacious and aesthetically pleasing with great energy! Customer service was on point even from staff that did not directly have to interact. The bathrooms are pristine and the kids corner close to the dining area was a great bonus! Would definitely highly recommend to anyone and be dining in ourselves whenever we are in town!

Meals are much bigger than expectation. We had a chicken parmi and vego pizza and they were monstrous! We bought a small side of chips and they were super larger. We dined upstairs at the restaurant and the venue provided a superb experience. Staff are friendly. Food is amazing. Air conditioning is cool to the climate and the beer is epic
