One 7 Eight

Walked in on a Saturday Iggy with our a booking, we were welcomed in. Great atmosphere, fantastic food, fabulous night out.

Food was absolutely amazing the flavors and tastes were great. Service we received from the 2 x young ladies on was fantastic. Highly recommend if you like a nice meal in a quiet area this is now my favorite restaurant in Dubbo.

So disappointed in this restaurant. My partner made a booking here for Valentine’s Day (today) couple of weeks ago, received the confirmation email etc. earlier this week he had called them up because we seen the ticketed event on so he called them to ask if the booking was still fine and could we still eat here is the regular menu available aswell to which he was told yes everything is fine and can order the regular menu and it is a regular booking. Come to this place tonight to be told no that it is a ticketed event and our booking wasn’t on there. I had mentioned who ever my partner spoke to was told yes everything was fine. Our evening was ruined and I’ll be sure to never come back here again. Not a care in the world. Was told that the regular bookings should have been blocked and not had access to well clearly they weren’t. They couldn’t have cared less really. Not happy and never coming back.

Had dinner at One 7 Eight inside the Dubbo RSL while on a business trip. I ordered the 300g Rib Eye Steak with shoestring fries, baby broccolini, chimichurri and red wine jus — cooked perfectly, full of flavour and really tender. The chimichurri was delicious! Only wish there were a few more fries and broccolini for the price ($45). Finished with the Chef’s Cheesecake which was tasty but a small serve for $22. Service was friendly and quick, though the atmosphere feels a bit dated. Overall, a nice spot for a good steak in Dubbo. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at One 7 Eight. My steak was cooked to perfection and her chicken was delicious. We paired our meal with a fantastic bottle of sparkling wine. The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect for a special night out.
