BAR30 & Bistro Parramatta

Five stars for the three full flavour Espresso Martinis that Ricardo and Freddy made for our group tonight.

Overnight stay at the PARKROYAL and chose to do quick easy dinner snacks here at the bar with a couple of drinks. Service was great, but I’d say the bar menu is a bit too fried and fast food style as opposed to having healthy options. The service timeframe from ordering to table delivery was really good, but the food was just ok not fantastic. Given the price point of the food, it fell below our expectations.

Everything a delight service and hospitality wise. Barman was on point and friendly. Schitnzel was average however the buffalo chicken Pizza, ranges in top 3 worst Pizza we had ever had. For $30 a pizza would be nice if the dough was edible.

Could this be the worst buffet restaurant in Sydney? My experience relates to a the $109 per adult prepaid and booked Mother’s Day lunch 2024. Queuing up for one hour just to be seated having prepaid is ridiculous. The wait staff appear to be very inexperienced and the overall feeling is that this is the first time for many of them in this industry. The food was bland, and quickly ran out as it was obvious the function was under-catered. Food was not replenished and did not live up to the hype. Coffee machines did not work and the endless waiting. There were many disappointed customers, I suggest you save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere.

We were surprised by the quality (good) of our lunch. The chicken burgers we had were tasty with fresh ingredients and the flavors went well. Service was a little slow but overall it didn't impact my rating here. If you are a hotel guest you should try this place if you don't have the chance to get into town.
