What people say
We visited on a Sunday evening and found the bar very quiet and peaceful; the views and atmosphere from the balcony were fantastic, and our bartender James looked after us wonderfully! He gave us a round on the house (as we were celebrating a birthday) and was able to recommend drinks based on what we wanted. Only thing I will say it is that it was a bit pricy, being a weekend (15% surcharge). Other than that, I would highly recommend Nick & Nora's.
DO NOT COME FOR Valentine's Day or to any any food. For the Valentines set menu it was $75pp and I paid $150 total for: crackers and hummus (no cheese or any meat), bread and butter, sad rocket salad, fried prawn, the MAIN was two small meatballs on mash potato (this between two people!!), and lastly what seems to be kids size slice of cheesecake - clearly terrible value The view was nice and staff were alright. Aside from the food, worst thing was the we booked the terrace seating and were put on couches with a table that was LOWER THAN OUR KNEES. The staff that sat as down told us that we would can't move to any other table even if we didn't like it. Overall do not recommend coming to eat, although a drink or two would be nice with the view.
Nick & Nora’s has an absolutely stunning view and a beautiful atmosphere — definitely a great spot for photos and special occasions. The ambiance and setting really set the mood. However, the experience was let down by service issues especially on Vale times Day dinner. The website used to order drinks was frozen and not working properly, which made ordering frustrating. On top of that, the wait time between meals was extremely long, to the point where it affected the overall enjoyment of the night. It has so much potential because the location and view are amazing, but smoother service and better ordering systems would really elevate the experience. GREAT FOOD BTW ❤️
As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia Tour of NSW, I visited here. The name rang a bell, turns out I been to the one in Melbourne before. Located on level 26 of a sky scraper in Parrametta this had great views overlooking the city. Last drinks were called at 9pm on a week night and the cocktail I got the melon trap, which had Olmeca blanco tequila, slow gin, watermelon, lime, hibiscus, orange, basil. Was a well balanced drink 🍸 e enjoyed it.
It's an amazing little bar/restaurant/cigar bar in western Sydney. We've needed places like this out west for a long time. The food is amazing. It's city style and quality, without the $500 per person price. The staff are friendly. There's a space to smoke cigars with a good whisky or bourbon. They have an amazing selection of wines and scotches. And a whole book of cocktails. Really great atmosphere.
