Oliver Brown

My over 60's gym group comes and visits this delightful Cafe - "Oliver Brown" at Mt Hutton, after our "Stay Alive" classes finish ... they are just wonderful to us - our group just keeps getting bigger and bigger, and they just smile and say "no problem!" A big thank you to all the staff there - especially Nikita (our go-between) and all the others too ... and, yes, the coffee is just to die for here! Well worth the effort to find this gem of a cafe ... we'll be back!

Been coming here since feb and everytime the staff always manage to put a smile on my face. Everyone is so friendly and I love coming here all the time. My friends and I always meet here for breakfast. The food is amazing, the service is fantastic and the staffs are great! There was a time that I was the one who made a mistake with my order and yet they were the one who apologised, refunded my order and even gave me an extra food on the house. This has became my favourite coffee place from the start. I just feel comfortable coming here and the staffs friendliness makes it more welcoming. I love oliver brown, this is where I always buy my drinks.

We really enjoyed our brunch. My son ordered a cheeseburger along with his special request of white marshmallows and a pot of chocolate—both happily provided. The burger defeated him in the end, but he said it was absolutely delicious. My cappuccino was just how I like it: strong and hot (with my usual extra shot, of course).

Love Oliver browns Charlestown but decided to try Lake Macquarie fairs OB at 5pm must say abit disappointed comparing the two, my food was fine I guess ( the crepe tasted alittle different but fine) my friend who ate with me got a fondue for 2 and got extra dipping chocolate, well all the chocolate dips were half full. I was pretty upset just looking at it. And she was saying the marshmallows don’t taste good and didn’t eat them. It was abit nosy inside as staff were chatting to each other, no one else but us inside, the crepe was good but prob won’t be back

Ordered the big breakfast and the breakfast crepe, cappuccino and iced chocolate banana. The poached eggs were sadly over cooked but immediately and apologetically remade and came back perfect. Cannot fault the staff or the service. The entire meal was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend brunching here. Big thankyou to the staff for an enjoyable meal and service. I will definitely be back.
