One of the hidden secrets in Pyrmont. This park is located in an elevated area in Pyrmont which provides great view of Sydney City on one side and Anzac Bridge the other. It has a lift and a ramp for those who has mobility issues. It is also a dog park.
This is mostly a walk-through park that has benches, lovely stone and some nice plants. And heaps of stairs! I entered through the Jones and Johns Street intersection and walked along the park to Quarry Drive. ❗I'm not seeing many of the views in previous reviews, and I'm wondering if those are from the Pyrmont Cliff Walk, which appears to be in the same map location, but is actually a far higher elevation with great views. I recommend a walk along the Cliff Walk (go up the stairs at the Jones and Johns St intersection that's the top of the Carmichael Park stairs). This park is really just a walk through and sit in the shade on a hot day park.
Love this little park. Go upstairs for some artwork that references Pyrmont's history. And downstairs for more art from Pyrmont's old sandstone quarries. I love the views.
A beautiful Carmichael Park with areas to relax and enjoy the nature also designated biking/skating path. To enjoy the most of it, I would highly recommend planning your visit during the weekdays otherwise it will be super busy.
What an amazing little area. You can legally fly a drone there if you respect the HLS laws. There's an amazing view of the city on one side and another spectacular view of Anzac Bridge on the other.
