Arcadia Take Away & Coffee Lounge

Rude and unwelcoming! Was waiting to be served Saturday 20 September, and the person served someone else they knew in front of us. First time there, and it is my last time, no way did they mix up who was next, as there was only one other customer in the shop when we entered, and my partner and I were clearly waiting to order!

Love this place. Am always looking for an excuse to go to Wingham just so I can get some of their "proper" (ie. not frozen) chips. Lucky for me they are not closer to where I live. They are 1 of only 2 takeaways I have found in the region that do proper chips, which are as rare as hen's teeth nowadays. A great old-school takeaway. Would be 5-stars but they can on occasion be a little inconsistent. Still - even on a "bad" day their food is better than 99% of the other takeaways selling frozen chips and pre-processed food.

Im just working in the area,.I've been 3 times to this cafe. I'm only buy fish cocktails buy they are so good. The shop is clean and the lady serving and cook is really nice, pleasant attitude good food.. Recommend!

Great staff, friendly and very professional. I’ve been travelling from Sunshine Coast to Sydney for the last 6 yrs and I think I found the best hot chips and scallops! Great burgers as well.

The Taste of the chips and gravy are the best I've tasted so far. The gravy is not at all fake out of powder. Instead it tastes like real and not sweet brown sauce. Delicious. And the chips are fried twice to get the extra crunchiness. It's just perfect. The only thing I would change is the package for the chips. They are packed in a paper bag foiled with aluminium, so they get soggy quite fast and the perfect crunchiness gets thrown away. But definitely a perfect spot to get great chips.
