Friendship Walk

Dogs likely welcome

Friendship Walk is a park in East Gosford. Dogs are generally allowed on a lead in NSW public parks unless signs say otherwise — but the rules here aren't confirmed, so check local signage before visiting.

Dog rules

–Central Coast Council's "Guide to being PAWSOME!" booklet states: "When exercising in a public place, keep your dog on a lead and under the control of a competent person." "This means when you are outside your home, including on the footpath, your dog must be on a lead — except in designated dog off-leash exercise areas." The booklet also notes that under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs are prohibited from schools, shopping centres, beaches (except in designated areas), food preparation areas, playgrounds and wildlife protection areas. This park is not on Central Coast Council's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies. (Source: Central Coast Council — "Guide to being PAWSOME!" The Friendship Walk is an absolute hidden gem and easily one of the most uplifting forest trails I’ve ever experienced. From the moment you step beneath the canopy, you’re surrounded by a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. The towering trees filter the sunlight into a soft golden glow, birdsong fills the air, and the gentle rustling of leaves creates the perfect natural soundtrack. What makes the Friendship Walk truly special is the way it brings people together. The trail is beautifully maintained, easy to follow, and suitable for all ages, making it ideal for families, friends, or even a quiet solo stroll. Along the way, there are charming little details — thoughtfully placed benches, small clearings perfect for photos, and scenic spots that invite you to pause and really take it all in. It’s not just a walk; it’s an experience. Whether you’re looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, or spend meaningful time with someone special, the Friendship Walk delivers in every way. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning my next visit. Highly recommend — five stars without hesitation! 🌿✨

I recently experienced something truly special, a mini rainforest that earned every bit of its five-star rating.🌿 The lush greenery and vibrant atmosphere were incredibly captivating, offering a perfect escape into nature. I was particularly thrilled that it was located right next to the top point cafe ☕, making it an ideal spot for a post-exploration refreshment. Furthermore, the proximity to the Japanese Gardens 🌸 added to the overall serenity of the location. I was absolutely mesmerized by the breathtaking views that unfolded before my eyes.😍 It was a truly magical experience, providing a refreshing contrast to city life. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking tranquility and natural beauty. This rainforest is a must-visit destination for anyone. The whole experience was a treat for the senses. I will definitely return to this beautiful place. #MiniRainforest #NatureEscape #BreathtakingViews #JapaneseGardens #TopPointCafe #HiddenGem #FiveStarReview #MagicalPlace #ExploreNature #Travel
