Bringing the bay into play, Gosford city has done a very good job of bringing learning into playing with this new addition to the area. Whether you are here to let the kids run, are having a birthday party, having a BBQ/picnic or simply watching time go by at this lovely park. There is 2 slides and a massive jungle gym for the 4+yo to burn off all their energy. Tidal pools where the bay comes into play at high tide, and a number of paths to ride your bikes and scooters along.
The playground facilities are quite unique in design and well though off for kids to enjoy. Kid enjoyed it so much that a lot of parents did have a hard time calling their kids to come down! It's got a great view of Brisbane Water. Parking is ample along the park streets. However, I don't recommend going there on noon and early afternoon because it's really hot!
Small grassy park with a couple of large trees located adjacent to the waterfront at Gosford. You can’t miss it if you’re walking along the park area, it can be noisy due to its location right next to a busy road. Pop over the road to the Aquatic Club / Iguana Joe’s / Drifters Wharf (or whatever it’s called this week) and grab a drink overlooking the water.
Their service was great and the staff were very helpful!! My take is that they cope a lot better on a weekday than on the weekend, because the numbers are smaller and it's easier for them to cater. The food was exceptionally lovely.
10 million for this mess, and poor planning. What a waste. 2 days in and the gardens are already ruined. Exposed building materials, and metal framework. More money to be wasted fixing it. Hooray. Great spot for the kids otherwise.
