Graham Park

Dogs likely welcome

Graham Park is a park in Gosford. Dogs are generally allowed on a lead in NSW public parks unless signs say otherwise — but the rules here aren't confirmed, so check local signage before visiting.

Dog rules

–Central Coast Council's "Guide to being PAWSOME!" booklet states: "When exercising in a public place, keep your dog on a lead and under the control of a competent person." "This means when you are outside your home, including on the footpath, your dog must be on a lead — except in designated dog off-leash exercise areas." The booklet also notes that under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs are prohibited from schools, shopping centres, beaches (except in designated areas), food preparation areas, playgrounds and wildlife protection areas. This park is not on Central Coast Council's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies. (Source: Central Coast Council — "Guide to being PAWSOME!" Graham Park, nestled close to the Gosford waterfront, is a hidden gem that has quickly become a beloved spot for the community. It's hard to put into words just how wonderful this place is! The park boasts a beautiful walkway that runs along Gosford Bay, offering breathtaking views of the water, with boats gently lined up in the bay. The serene beauty of this place is nothing short of a visual treat, and it's like a little piece of paradise right in the heart of Gosford. What makes Graham Park even more special is its dedication to providing a safe and inviting space for exercise. Whether you want to take a leisurely stroll, go for a jog, or ride a bike, this park caters to all. The well-maintained pathways make it a breeze to enjoy outdoor activities, and the bay views make it all the more enjoyable. One of the most heartwarming aspects of Graham Park is the diverse community it attracts. You'll find people from all walks of life, at all times of the day, coming together to appreciate the beauty and tranquility of this place. It's a testament to how this park has become a unifying hub for the community. The best time to visit is undoubtedly around sunset. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky comes alive with a purple hue, casting a magical spell over the bay. It's an incredibly romantic and awe-inspiring sight that you won't want to miss.
