Gosford Sailing Club

Nice spot. Booked dinner with friends. Got a good table with view across water but sadly the clouds moved in and didn't get a great sunset unfortunately. We ordered our food and dinner was on the table in under 30 minutes. They have commenced a revised menu so I tried the Balmain bug and ravioli. Bug was nice and not overdone by much. Most meals range between $35/45 and the deserts $16. Three or 4 dollars off menu price for menus. The atmosphere was quite good and club is well lit and fairly spacious. You have to order and pay for meals from the spot next to the bar which is ok and the staff were nice. Had a nice night

We popped into Gosford Sailing Club for a very last-minute dinner and were blown away by how welcoming and accommodating the staff were from the moment we walked in. Nothing felt rushed or inconvenient — just genuine, friendly hospitality. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the food was outstanding. The lamb backstrap was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavour, and the bug and prawn ravioli was absolutely delicious — rich, fresh, and beautifully balanced. Every dish left us completely satisfied. Such a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!

The location is wonderful on the Brisbane waters. Food was average at best. Not sure what’s going on with the membership discount but no discount was applied and it actually cost more than the advertised price. No one was ordering from the QR Code on the table as the prices were much higher than the counter but even the counter was dearer than the menu price. Food options are limited compared to the previous menu. Not sure if we will be back unless things improve considerably. It was also very noisy. Very RSL Club vibe. Staff were personality free. Not good.

The lunch special was great value – it even includes a glass of wine or a drink, which was a nice bonus. The price felt very reasonable, especially with the ocean view. It’s a really nice spot for a chill lunch, and the food is definitely above average compared to other restaurants in Gosford.

RSL vibes. Food is good but service leaves a lot to be desired. However the location counters this on Gosford inner waters so it's a good spot. Could do better but above average.
