Stoney Park is a dog-friendly park in Woy Woy.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at this park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act, dogs must be kept on a leash in all public areas except designated off-leash zones.
A small park located between Rawson Road, Waterview Street, and the Main North railway line. Facilities include a toilet block, a swing set, a picnic table, a drinking-water fountain, and a path leading to a pedestrian underpass. The park is meant to be free of smoking, vaping, and alcohol consumption, providing a small refuge from these activities. This could be a useful place to take a short break during a walk or other exercise, and for those interested in train watching, the park's location provides a view of the railway line, and the flashing lights and bells of the adjacent Rawson Road level crossing provides an alert of approaching trains.
Very basic facility, as a park. Very small. Nothing else to play other than Swing. No electric pan fry *BBQ. A pedestrian tunnel under tracks but level cross is right above so who would love to walk down & up plus would anyone hiding around the corner.
Good park. The kids love watching the trains pass over the level crossing. There is some glass in the grass, and bindis, so keep your footwear on. The mulch under the swings isn't up to the correct level/depth, so keep an eye on the kids as a tumble might hurt more without the shock-absorbing fill.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
