Pelicans Spot is a park in Woy Woy. Dog access isn't confirmed, but it may be worth checking.

Dog rules

Central Coast Council's "Guide to being PAWSOME!" booklet states: "When exercising in a public place, keep your dog on a lead and under the control of a competent person." "This means when you are outside your home, including on the footpath, your dog must be on a lead — except in designated dog off-leash exercise areas." The booklet also notes that under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs are prohibited from schools, shopping centres, beaches (except in designated areas), food preparation areas, playgrounds and wildlife protection areas. This park is not on Central Coast Council's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies. (Source: Central Coast Council — "Guide to being PAWSOME!" Always good to relax with pelicans and shared path and views of the bridge and waters

Only few pelicans..we arrived before noon. Too early to see them.

A local Pelican Rookery, where you can easily see nests and baby Pelicans ("Toddlers" seems to fit, there is no official name) from the shoreline path. Can be quite smelly if the wind is blowing towards you.

An amazing experience! We saw 15 Pelicans a mere 5 metres away, and hundreds and hundreds on the island! Even though it looks like you are entering from a private area, it's fine and there's a public entrance. I definitely recommend visiting!

There's nothing much to do here. Pelicans are normally sitting on the island a bit far from shore so you would need binoculars to see them properly. The place is a residential area on the shore so you'd be walking in front of many houses.
