We visited 'Etti's' on Tuesday night as a group of two children and three adults, keen to try this newly opened venue. The recently renovated space is genuinely beautiful. The fit-out is stylish, welcoming, and feels like a great addition to the area. Unfortunately, the food was a major let-down. In particular, the calamari and the burger were very disappointing in both quality and taste, and the quality simply did not match the price being charged. Sadly, one of our group became quite unwell later that night and experienced food poisoning, which completely overshadowed the experience. The drinks from the new bar were a highlight. They were well made and enjoyable, although the Paloma arrived only about three-quarters full, which felt a bit stingy given the price. The staff were friendly and polite, however many appeared to be walking around with little to do. The ordering process also felt unnecessarily clunky. If guests are unable to order via the QR code, being directed to the cafe rather than being able to order directly from the bar is confusing and feels poorly thought through. Given the venue has only been open for a few days, it also felt like a missed opportunity not to actively gather feedback from guests. There is clearly potential here, particularly with the space and the bar, but the food and overall flow need significant improvement before we would consider returning.

A wonderful local club and community. The bar is well serviced and the restaurants a delight. New menu is growing on me.

I used to be in love with this place. It had such a great vibe, and honestly, it’s heartbreaking to see it’s just not the same anymore. This was the spot you’d go to when you wanted something different from all the same-looking venues, but now it feels like just another one of many. Sad And don’t get me started on the food—cold, dry, and completely lacking in flavor. I hope things turn around one day, but sadly, we won’t be coming back to our once-beloved local.

Over $100 for a couple and a kid (modest meal choices and 2 drinks) every single aspect of my pork roast meal was subpar. Gravy from a bucket. Smither of burnt crackling,. one tiny boiled potato, cauliflower raw; and one of the beans tasted off. If it was only one thing that was disappointing, or a less expensive meal, it would have been fine , but this was across the board disappointing

When you charge over $29 for a burger, you’d be expecting something pretty great. This was terrible - stale brioche, chips that had been under the bay Marie for a few hours, bereft of taste and somehow soggy. Feel like I got mugged. Don’t go here.
