Lane Cove River Track (Fullers Rd Entry) is a park in Chatswood West where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
A nice track close to Lane cover river. Water activities including kayaking happen in the river. The path is very close to the river.
The Riverside Track Loop consists of the Riverside Track one way and a part of the Great North Walk returning. The Riverside Track is a really easy and relaxing walk with nice views and a bit of a climb at the very end. The Great North Walk is a bit more demanding with much less views.
An entry to the track that I have not used before, having about 5 other entries a stone's throw away does that... But it was good to make my way down along the river and see this entry as well. I think one day someone has to compile a definitive list of entry points to the many tracks and paths that make up this wonderful hidden treasure. In some places you have to really remind yourself that you are only 15 minutes away from the CBD yet you can travel for hours to find anything as peaceful. How lucky are we in Sydney... But don't tell anyone.. 😉
One of several entry points to the walking trail along the Lane Cove river. About a half hour walk from Chatswood station, no shops nearby. Filtered river views only unless you cross over the road bridge. Looks like it could be muddy in wet weather or after recent rain so wear sturdy shoes.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
