Willoughby Park is a relaxed off-leash space with open grass, morning dog walkers and a well-kept local feel. The 1930s Art Deco community centre gives the park a distinctive backdrop, and there are toilets, a playground and outdoor exercise equipment nearby. Dogs need to stay on-leash within ten metres of the playground, but otherwise have plenty of room to move.

Dog rules

Off-leash area. Oval No. 1: The oval is unavailable as an off-leash area when being used for sport. This oval is available between 6am and 10am only. Oval No. 2: The lower oval is available as an off-leash dog exercise area at all times exept when the oval is being used for organised sport. If your dog is in a public area, including paths, roads and open spaces, it must be on a leash and controlled effectively by a competent person. Council has established off-leash areas where dogs may exercise under supervision. NSW Companion Animals Act 1998 s13.

I visit this park a few times per week in the mornings. It is not crowded and clean. Visitors do exercises, hiking and running 🏃‍♂️. A lot of dog walkers. Public toilets, playground for kids, outdoors exercise equipment, bowling club, car park and picnic area are available. I would recommend 👌.

Lovely little parkwith charming 1930's Art Deco community centre within. There is a good amount of space for dogs and kids to play free, an outdoor play area, and sporting facilities for the athletically inclined. A good place for a jog, leisurely stroll with the dog, a picnic with the kids or a snooze under the tree.

What a lovely park and I had a great time taking photographs of dogs in the early evening winter light.

Great park for kids who are 5+!!! I mean ive seen younger kids in this park, but its been harder to find a good park which has play sections that older kids (5–10years old) could also enjoy! But our kindy boys really enjoyed!!!:) Really spacious & it is divided with different sections with fun rides and plays. You could really spend the whole day. Although i guess it gets really busy on the weekends!

This is definitely an amazing park for kids and adults. Lots of activities and playground facilities in this beautiful park. Nice and decent gym workout area too.
