Dog rules

North Arm Reserve is a level 2 wildlife protection area: Residents may walk their dogs on a leash through this area using formal walking tracks. No unleashed dog walking is allowed. If your dog is in a public area, including paths, roads and open spaces, it must be on a leash and controlled effectively by a competent person. Council has established off-leash areas where dogs may exercise under supervision. NSW Companion Animals Act 1998 s13.

Very peaceful and quiet. The track is well maintained and sign posted, and there were some decent sections of inclines. FYI no toilet facilities along the track

North Arm Walking Track is a great little wander if you’re after something light but still a bit adventurous. The trail moves between bushy sections and open pockets, and the mix keeps things interesting without ever feeling like hard work. The small caves along the way add a fun, unexpected touch — just enough to make you pause and have a look around. There are also the wooden boardwalks over the water that give the walk a nice change of pace and some really peaceful moments by the lake. It all comes together in a way that feels natural and unforced, making it an easy spot to clear your head and enjoy a bit of quiet.
