Harold Reid Foreshore Track is an on-leash bushland walk along the Castlecrag foreshore, with water views and creek access along the way. The track is around three kilometres with a few stairs, making it more of a proper walk than a quick park stop. Free parking at the start makes it easy to turn into a longer outing towards Sugarloaf Bay.
Great location for an easy flat walk for a few hours. Swimming also possible in the creek. Dog friendly and easy free parking. Beautiful area.
Beautiful, easy little track. Just under 3km or 4,000 steps. If you're up for a longer walk, just keep going along the North Arm Walk to Sugarloaf Bay. Dogs are allowed on this trail but should be leashed. There are quite a few birds. Mostly the common ones, Superb Fairy Wrens, Magpies etc.. There is a picnic area in the reserve if you want to make a morning of it. The only mildly challenging part is the little climb up at the end. Enjoy. 😉
Great walk to do with dogs and kids. A few passages of stairs, but our small dog and friends with a baby didn’t have too much trouble. Dogs are supposed to be on-lead but there are plenty that aren’t. Beautiful views along the track, especially by the water. Pack some water and mozzie repellant - the walk took us about an hour and we didn’t rush. Easy parking on Rembrandt Drive. Signs can be a little confusing; but they’re helpful to point you in the right direction.
Fantastic walk with some amazing views particularly once you get to the foreshore. Reasonably steep in some sections but overall a very nice walk that's still in metro Sydney.
This trail is an easy walk, taking about an hour. The views along the harbour are beautiful.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
