Recently stopped here for lunch. The food was lovely, the pub very clean and service was great. Liked sitting near the large windows to look out but noticed there seems to be different spots to meet your needs ie a quiet darker corner near the kitchen, seating outside to enjoy the weather, different table options, causual, bar tables or regular table dinning. Saw plenty of people meeting in groups and yet seemed large enough that it did not feel busy or crowded.

First visit to Stockton and first dining experience. Was pleasantly surprised. The sirloin steak was cooked as we asked and the mushroom sauce was tasty and fresh. We also had bbq crispy wings and they delivered. They were not drowned in sweet sauce and had a great taste. Bar staff are friendly and helpful. Worth a second visit.

An awesome bistro inside the local bar. The outside look is deceiving. Walk in and see the unexpected great setup. A very nice play area at the back, for kids. The food is exceptional.

Hubby and I ate here for lunch today! Wow!!! Amazing 🤩. We had a Cheese Burger & a Bacon & Cheese Burger with chips. Super tasty - Super Hot 🔥 & the Dining area, lovely ambience! Well done to the Chefs and the Customer Service Lady 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (it’s great to get HOT food when it’s supposed to be hot 😊)

The new management of this bistro contacted me last week and requested that I remove my prior review. I am glad he did. I had lunch there today with a party of four. You’ll see my picture of the menu, fairly standard pub menu. We ordered the garlic baguette, two servings of the salt and pepper squid, a mushroom burger, a barramundi burger and a Caesar salad with chicken. The bistro and the bar was absolutely full and we still managed to be served within 25 minutes. Including a round of drinks the whole experience was about $150. There was a fair share of salt and pepper squid on both plates, fresh and tender. The mushroom burger contain mushroom lightly fried in a batter and tasty enough. The chips were the best that I’ve had in sometime. Very crisp yet lightly fried. The Caesar salad shown had the right amount of everything but the dressing could’ve used a bit of a twist. My only disappointment on the day was that the online menu contains stuffed zucchini flowers, which I was really looking forward to, however once we arrive there, it was not on the hardcopy menu. Other than that, I can say the new management of the bistro has redeemed the food there. I had a great experience and will probably go there again. I do need to add, I hate eating chips and usually leave them, but these I could not resist.
