Picken Oval is a park in Croydon Park. Dogs are generally allowed on a lead in NSW public parks unless signs say otherwise — but the rules here aren't confirmed, so check local signage before visiting.
Canterbury-Bankstown City Council's "Pet-friendly parks and reserves" page states: "please remember to keep your dog on a leash unless the reserve is classified as a 'dog off-leash area'." The council's "Animals and pets" page summarises this as: "Keeping your dog on a leash, unless in a designated off-leash area." This venue is not on Canterbury-Bankstown's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. Well kept ground, great place to walk you dog. Good view of the ground to watch AFL.
Pickens oval is very fun to visit. I visited a week ago with my family: brother, sisters, mother, father, and many cousins. We had a great fantastic reunion and was refreshing to breathe in the clean air, look at the green trees and admire nature in its very pure form. Would definitely recommend as parks are amazing for relaxation. Thanks.

Picken oval is owned by West magpies afl which is next door. The oval is always kept clean and has grass areas around for locals to sit and watch a game
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
