Merv Lynch Reserve is strictly on-leash — fines are enforced, and locals note that this has been reinforced after recent changes. The park itself is well-equipped with shade, drinking water, BBQ facilities, toilets, and a playground. It's a pleasant on-leash walk in a well-maintained setting.

Dog rules

Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times in this park. Under Georges River Council policy, dogs are permitted on-leash in public places except in designated leash-free areas; this park is listed on Council's Park and Reserve Facilities directory and is not a designated off-leash area.

Very nice area but for dog owners, this is 100% not an off leash dog park and fines are enforced. There have been recent changes due to resident complaints relating to noise which resulted in the council changing it to a leash only park. Extremely unfortunate as people living nearby aren’t able to utilise this perfectly fenced and maintained area for their pet.

This playground is amazing for family’s with young children and older children that like being outside socialising with friends/ family. This is a local park that I have been going to ever since I was little before the renovation and continued going frequently after the renovation with friends. The dog park is a nice feature for dogs to run around. The park benches offer a nice place sit either you or your child needs a break from playing or your a parents watching your child play, etc. The nature is well maintained, the grass is alive, the trees are stunning and (I’m not sure if these are still in the park after the renovation) the mulberry trees. The multipurpose track included with road signs are perfect for everyone, no matter the age. The bathrooms are clean (clean, knowing it is a public park bathroom) and close by to the park itself. The equipment is well built. It is Aesthetically pleasing and fun. It is targeted for younger children though. I found the playground before the renovation more fun but that maybe because I was younger. I do believe both equipments before and after the renovation were fun and enjoyable.

Good midsized park with a separate dog of leash park. Nice new toilet block & new double BBQ stand ,nice and smooth footpath. Kids love riding scooters around the paths. Good playground but needs an upgrade.Large Fenced dog off leash area. Three picnic tables with benches. Council has done an excellent job with the upgrade and upkeep of the reserve.

Clean public toilet and a small children’s park with safe play area, great for families.

It’s a decent-sized recently-upgraded playground in Beverly Hills. It has a track around the perimeter for the little one to ride their bike on. My main gripe is that it offers limited shade, so it does get very hot (and very quiet) here in summer from the late morning. Hopefully the Council will install additional shade for next summer
