Beautiful area. Walk along the river on Rhodes side. There's a small dog park, children playground, some area to rest. Street parking is available, but it's usually hard to a spot. Different time of day has different feelings.
Gorgeous walk. Watch out for cyclists, there's also a dog park and a park for kids as well. It's a beautiful location for a sunset, plenty of grass so you can pack a picnic and chill on the grass.
Rhodes Foreshore Park is one of the most beautiful and well-designed waterfront parks in Sydney. The whole area is incredibly clean, modern and peaceful, with wide open spaces, gentle pathways, and stunning water views that make it perfect for a relaxing walk, a family outing, or a casual afternoon in the sun. The playground is excellent safe, well-maintained, and great for younger kids while the walking and cycling paths along the water are ideal for strollers, scooters, and bikes. There are plenty of benches, shaded areas, and grassy patches for picnics, and the whole park has a calm, breezy atmosphere that feels like a little getaway even though it’s right in the middle of the inner west. The connection to The Connection, Rhodes, and the surrounding cafés adds even more convenience, and the sunsets over the water are genuinely impressive. Whether you're visiting with kids, going for an exercise loop, or just wanting a quiet place to unwind by the river, Rhodes Foreshore Park is outstanding. An easy 5 stars.
Rhodes is such a beautiful place, I’ve been staying here for Almost 3 years now, parks, playgrounds for the kids & other facilities like library to study, cafes for little catch up are so accessible for young families, and for anyone, very neat & clean.
