McIlwaine Park is a waterfront park in Rhodes with a fenced off-leash area, a cafe, a playground and BBQ facilities. Dogs can run off-leash in the enclosed section, with plenty of grass, shade and parking around the wider park. It is a comfortable, well-equipped spot by the water. A handy off-leash park with good facilities.

This place is really awesome as it has everything-including a Rockpool, like a beach and great view. BBQ and playgrounds. It’s like all in one playground. There is water for drinking and a spot to take shower.

Our first time coming to this scenery parklands when it’s very convenient for people to take the bus or train only for a short walk not far from Rhodes Waterside seeing a turkey & perfect for Picnics shelters to catch up with friends or family along with a bbq area. Many Amenities include a playground for the kids to enjoy themselves being out in between a walking pathway as part of a upgrade for this area. Although there was a beachside seashore to discover the Rockpool. We did play Badminton on a partly cloudy day with the beautiful breeze hitting our backs though seeing the crystal water. Plenty of parking as well for people to enjoy the great outdoors activities. This was not bad with toilets operating from different times alongside water bubblers.

Lovely park for family gatherings. Best is very close to Rhodes train station. The park has many equipments for all the ages. Multiple seating arrangements for many people to seat. Big shadowy areas to sit on the ground. BBQ stations if you’re planning. Nice pathway for skating, biking or scooters for the kids. The waterfront is so beautiful. The sandy area is to play in the sands and nice water to jump in. The only downside that we faced is there are no food truck or eating arrangements nearby. One Italian restaurant that fine dining and doesn’t do takeaways. We didn’t do much research and ended up without food. Otherwise the best for spending the entire morning to afternoon ❤️
