Ladies & Gentlemen Cafe Diner

A lovely little cafe we only discovered recently! One of the few places that you can experience service that is genuinely attentive and warms your soul. The food tastes fresh and departs from the standard overpriced cafe basics. My daughters love the Taiwanese chicken here which is an added bonus! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this spot - accomodating for kids as well. Small joint in between Marrickville and Enmore that is a Taiwanese style cafe - something quite unique at the moment in Sydney. The deep fried pork and katsu are done with care, great aesthetic for food and for the cafe. Staff are great and thoughtful, and overall enjoyed the food - great value. Coffee was good too.

Peter and I returned after a couple of months absence to find a sparkling new look - bright, light, natural. What hasn’t changed is the quietly effortless charm of the staff and the impeccable food created by Fiona. Her Paris-based training shines through in every mouthful. We both had the new dish- Confit Tomatoes. Beautiful colour palette, nutritional balance, perfect balance of form and content. For me the only quibble is with the music - too much mechanical drum beat. This establishment merits something classier- acoustic guitar, solo piano, cool jazz. Otherwise, it’s as good as ever - and that means good as gold. Congratulations Fiona, Ben and the team. See you again, soon. .

I ordered ladies and gentlemen rice bowl and chose teriyaki salmon for main. It was really tasty and big size. Also Sunset juice is really fresh. The staff is great hospitality. I only stayed for 30 minutes, but I am very satisfied. I’ll be back. Thank you.

From the outside, the café looked quite unassuming, but the good reviews convinced us to give it a try, and we’re so glad we did. We were greeted by genuinely friendly, energetic staff who made us feel welcome right away. We ordered the Taiwanese pockets, the chilli miso scrambled eggs, and a chicken and avocado wrap for our daughter. Everything arrived quickly, beautifully prepared, and made with noticeably fresh ingredients. The coffee was excellent too. We’re locals and will definitely come back. Some of the nearby cafés focusing only on instagram posts and reels and serving below-par food could really learn a thing or two from this place.
