McNeilly Park is a medium-sized park tucked away within walking distance of Marrickville station. The designated off-leash area gives dogs room to run on lush grass, and the park sits well back from major roads, making it feel more sheltered than many inner-city options. There are walking paths, shade, drinking water, BBQ facilities, and toilets. It's a good balance of space and accessibility for an everyday visit.

Dog rules

A designated area of McNeilly Park is off-leash at any time of the day. Dogs must be on a leash outside the designated area.

Lovely lush park, spacious enough for dogs to run free, quite sheltered away from any major roads or traffic. Walking paths. Enough shade. There's a playground for kids. Basketball court. Water fountains.

Great location. Basketball courts and some lead free area for doggos. Great community feeling and clean. Will be going back with my puppy again and again.

Why are the lights always off in this park? I think they are solar powered but today (15th April 2024) was a really sunny day so why aren’t they working tonight at 7pm? 3 stars for 1. having bbq facilities 2. A basketball halfcourt (with a ring that must be 11ft instead of 10ft) 3. A toilet (that has the only working lights in the park) Please make the other lights run instead of just being decorative poles.

Nice park. Has a half basketball court and play area. Only negative is grass could do with a mow.
