Bean to Heaven

Cute unassuming cafe near the park. Lots of people bring their dogs and sit outside. Delicious coffee by Marionette and the breakfast was really yummy too. We had the ham hock and egg roll and the classic hot dog. Good quality ingredients makes the simple meals shine.

This cafe is a modern take on a retro milk bar, complete with the colourful streamers when you enter. I couldn’t go past the breakfast hotdog, with avo and scrambled egg with a great quality dog. I also tried the classic dog. It has sauerkraut, pickles and mustard. Super yum. Coffee was perfect, great music, lovely staff, can’t wait to try out their milkshakes next. Quite a few seats inside and out too.

Really nice local café in Marrickville. Coffee was good and consistent, and the food was fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly and the vibe was relaxed. Easy place to sit, enjoy a coffee and come back again.

I love it here, the people, the atmosphere and the coffee and food. And that’s the end of my review.

The cafes new owners are lovely, drinks menu is now more extensive - fresh juices, matcha, milkshakes & ginger shots are all great. They do the usual cafe staples well - scrambled egg bacon on an English Muffin Bun yum! A great laid back cafe that’s a short stroll away from Steele Park
