Johnson Park is a well-used Dulwich Hill park with a designated off-leash area and good shelter. Dogs are off-leash from 6–9am and 4–7pm (5–8pm during daylight saving), and on-leash outside those hours. It is a popular spot at dusk, with undercover BBQ areas, toilets, a playground and an outdoor fitness area on hand. A comfortable local park that suits an off-leash visit around the timed hours.
A designated area of Johnson Park is off-leash from 6am–9am and 4pm–7pm (5pm–8pm during daylight saving). Dogs must be on a leash at all other times. Follow on-site signage.
Great park for kids parties. Undercover BBQ areas, toilets and great playground. Dog park was full of lots of people and their pooches at dusk. Good outdoor fitness area.
Family friendly park with 2 bbq facilities, gym area, children’s park, many park benches, walking track, and toilet facilities ! Excellent for picnics and birthday parties for kids.
Great place for a pause for reflection if you're walking or cycling the Greenway.
Very well integrates with the Greenway, and the L1 light rail
This is the first time being in this park is a very large grass area. There are lots of seats and tables with roof shelter with some bins next to it and there's a nearby toliets as well and not to mention the outdoor gym equipment as well as for the view it's nice even seeing on the other side with Light Rail trams that passes by from left to right or the opposite direction anyhow this one is one of the best parks I've ever been. This was taken nearly a week ago
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
