Absolutely fantastic! We have lived in the Blue Mountains for a bit over one year and tried almost all the top end restaurants, some of which are very expensive. The Jamison Views in our experience has the finest food and, at a very reasonable price. We can not recommend it highly enough. It is way under the radar being a little off the main beaten track. Quiet, lovely ambience, excellent service, lovely staff, superb food, easy and plentiful parking ... what more could you want? Try it, what have you got to lose?
Jamison Views restaurant is superb. The restaurant is beautiful, the views are spectacular, the food delicious, and the service attentive and professional. We shared the chorizo and prawns followed by the duck confit and lamb - we enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to go back the following day for breakfast! We can’t wait to return and enjoy cocktails on the veranda while watching the sunset and listening to the pianist 🍹
I booked a table by the window for my wife's birthday dinner. Staff were warm and friendly. Kitchen service was slow. A starter of a small cup of soup and a hot bread roll with French butter was provided to us quite quickly, after were ordered our meal. My wife ordered an entrée of Lobster Agnolotti ($26), consisting of delicious pasta filled with lobster meat and swimming in a creamy leek veloute and shellfish sauce. That was a must try dish, wonderful. I tried the Terrine of Poultry and Game ($24) consisting of duck, chicken and quail meat in a savoury jelly with truffle and potato, picked baby vegetables and two shards of crispy garlic toast. Most delicious tastes, enjoyed it immensely. For mains we both ordered the delicious and succulent Lamb Saddle ($38), consisting of two medallions of lamb rolled with mushrooms and spinach, zucchini King brown mushroom, onion, baby turnips, green beans in a port wine jus. Super delicious. We ordered a side of creamy mash potato ($12) which was amazingly blended. I savoured a generous glass of Australian shiraz with the lamb and we both shared a bottle of sparkling mineral water. For dessert, we shared a really extravagant tasting, Apple Tart Tatin ($16) which consisted of local apple baked in caramel and puff pastry and served with vanilla and cinnamon icecream. We completed our meal with well made, flat white coffees. Food was fine dining, the dishes were well designed and the food flavours exciting and definitely worth trying by people with mature tastes. A meal here is highly recommended.
The Early Evening special on Friday was unreal! Great music, wonderful staff, fantastic food, stunning view, all in affordable price.

Overall, Jamisons View Restaurant delivered not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent food, stunning views, and a team that truly values its guests.
