Beautiful hidden gem up in Katoomba. Gorgeous restaurant in a converted church with lovely decor. We were serenaded by two guitar players whilst enjoying their beautiful food. We had lovely burrata with figs, followed by delicious osso buca and mushroom cannelloni. We added some fries which were a divine umami yuminess. The staff were gorgeous and friendly. Highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely dinner :)
This is a lovely little boutique location in an old converted church quite an elegant location for the mountains almost like you’re stepping into a nice upbeat restaurant in the middle of the Sydney CBD or Melbourne CBD. The pricing was fair and the serving sizes were good. the food also tasted very very nice. The only suggestion I would make is that the Osso Bucco not include whole black peppercorns which I found quite a few but the flavour itself was fantastic. I can definitely recommend this place. It seems it is more suited to a couple or a group of people.
An excellent space for an evening out with some live music (only on fridays - check website) and good feed with lots of vegetables! The green seasonal veg platter was great for the price. Tge osso busso tasted good but was missing the bones, it was deconstructed so was interesting to have a pile of meat. The tumeric barramundi with pomegranate was also interesting, the fish itself was fresh and tasty but I didn’t think it went well with everything that was on the plate! We nevertheless enjoyed ourselves to the space and music! Not sure we wld be back for the food though!
Visiting Katoomba, we discovered this restaurant while browsing Google Maps photos and it quickly became a highlight of our trip. The interior design stood out in pictures and looks even better in person, with a warm, stylish atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy. We were the first guests to arrive, so the space was empty and pristine, perfect for taking some photos before it filled up. We started with delicious shrimp and crab starters that were flavorful. For mains, we chose the lamb shank and chicken; the lamb was exceptional slow-braised and tender, easily recommended. Portions were generous and offered great value considering the quality of the food. The beers on tap come from local breweries, and they offer a great range with everything tasting fresh and well-crafted. Combined with the inviting interior and relaxed vibe, it made for a memorable dining experience that truly enhanced our day exploring the Blue Mountains. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Katoomba who enjoys good food and locally brewed beer.
A wonderful set up in an old church. Great decor. We ate on a reasonably quiet Monday night, but the atmosphere was still lovely. I imagine the nights with live music are fantastic. The food was delicious and very well presented. A wide and varied selection for vegetarians. Good wine list and lots of tempting cocktails.
