I went in because I wanted steak. They assigned me a seat, and in this hot weather (31 degrees Celsius), they told me to sit by the window, which let in plenty of sunlight. I was like, "Huh?" but I sat down. (No Westerners were sitting there; I was sitting in the shade, in the air-conditioned area (except for those who chose the outdoor terrace seats). No one came to take our order, and since we were on a tour, our time was limited for dinner, so we just left. The blonde, tattooed female employee was the worst. If you're feeling a bit ambivalent about whether or not it's racism, I highly recommend it!

Very good fire wood pizza. Overall nice ambiance indoors for family dinners or a date!

The bistro here does its best to live up to the self-proclaimed refinement. It's hard not to mark it higher, as they really do make an effort with "from scratch" cookery. It's just that it doesn't really work. My friends weren't happy with their parmies. They complained they lacked the tomato sugo in sufficient quantity, dry chicken, and cheese overload. My beetroot burger was quite good. The chips, meh, about the only thing not made there. Thevbeef cheek looked great, but my friend said the tenderness was offset by a watery sauce. The veg were good, but the mash was buttered more than a human liver can cope with. The oizza qas hand made. There was semolina involved. It just wasn't very good. No stretch in the dough and a mediocre sugo. But the service is above and beyond. I can recommend you to go if you're in the area. But I won't convince my mob to return.
