Red Door Cafe is a cafe in Leura where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
Cosy little place on the main street of Leura Village. The initial visuals bely what waits inside. Food is excellent, with a wide selection, and great serving sizes. Lots of seating, but as it's very popular, bookings would be a wise idea. Great atmosphere, with good background music, and a buzzy vibe from the staff and kitchen. Parking nearby is also difficult, but the walk is worthwhile.
Place is easy to find, difficult to get parking. Booking recommended. The cafe is small with lots of seating inside which makes it feel very crowded. The outside part looked much nicer and inviting. Menu was small but had lots of variety. Staff were friendly but not overly welcoming. Food was average, prices were decent considering the quality. Drinks were nice and came out within 10 mintues of ordering. Would recommend
Pleasant experience here for lunch today. Our pups were looked after with a tub of water as soon as we arrived. Food was nice & large portions. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.
Amidst a sea of cafes in Leura we settled on Red Door for its authentic look and menu and were delighted to be proven right. Staff were just wonderful. Friendly, extremely helpful with a request for gluten free food, and the serves enormous. The GF bread was baked on the premises and was actually quite good. Everything looked great, but the salad, the pie and the soup of the day were all a cut above the usual cafe fare.
The cutest little cafe awaits behind this charming red door. This was my favourite meal after 2 weeks in the mountains and Sydney. The chicken and leek meat pie was enormous and to die for (take it with mash)! Our chai lattes were a delight. Everyone was super lovely and we had a great chat with the owner. Thank you so much
