Delicious Sri Lankan dinner, tasted authentic and wasn't too rich or oily. We didn't expect to enjoy it so much. Loved the pork and fish curry. As well as the butter calamari. They also made great hoppers. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Hands down the best cafe in Leura! We loved the quiet and peaceful atmosphere and the flavourfull Srilankan fusion meals. we ordered the curry omelette and the mediterranean inspired chicken from the breakfast menu and the lunch menu. Kuddos to the chef and the team for curating this amazing menu. A must visit gem in Leura! We will be coming back, speacially to taste the dinner menu!

We would return to Gia for the hot butter calamari alone - it was a true stand out dish for me. The pan rolls were also great. Personally felt the curries (black pork and beef isstu) were a bit dialed back flavour-wise but they were still enjoyable. Found the rice very delicious but a little steep at $14 for the portion size. Think there could be a happy in-between, like a more economical option available - perhaps plain steamed rice option available similar to what other restaurants offer. Service was extremely warm and attentive and the restaurant itself had a lovely ambience - also really enjoyed the music that was playing.

One of the best brunch spots in the area. The wait can be around 30 minutes, but it’s absolutely worth it. Every dish feels thoughtfully made and delivers real value for the price. The vibe is very local—relaxed, unpretentious, and authentic. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy good food, and feel like you’re part of the neighborhood rather than just visiting.

We ordered a cheeseburger and a mushroom toastie. The cheeseburger was one of the best I’ve had so far, absolutely delicious. The restaurant had a cosy, welcoming vibe. I also tried one of their Mountain Culture pale ales, which paired really well with the burger. Overall, I really enjoyed dining at this place.
