Revisit for a quick lunch, the food was really good. Truffle prawn “cha tom” toast is a must try. Unique hit of cold top mixture truffle- egg with hot served prawn toast. Shaking beef rice was really good as well. Mixed pickles with it would be greater. Vegan spicy noodle soup is also a must try for lunch. Staff were friendly and informative. We will be back for sure
Really underrated spot with a great weekday lunch special and generous portions. The Beef Tartare was a standout — fresh, well balanced, and full of texture. The Smokey Ribs were also delicious, nicely charred on the outside and tender inside. Overall, everything was tasty and well done. Great place for a catch-up meal with friends, and I’d definitely come back.
Hello Auntie is hands down one of the best value Vietnamese spots in Sydney Marrickville. Their $30 lunch set (with a $5 upgrade for premium drinks) is incredible—starter, main, and drink, and every option feels like a signature dish. The MSB9+ wagyu beef tartare was melt-in-your-mouth, the pho broth was rich and comforting, and the lobster dumplings and Vie coffee trifle were absolute standouts. Great food, generous portions, and a warm, stylish space—definitely worth coming back again and again!
They have the best customer service and the food you won’t regret coming here! I had the best Vietnamese fusion menu here. Highly Recomended the DIY Rice Paper Roll Platter. You can enjoy wrapping your very own Rice paper roll the way you want it. Their pho tastes so authentic and full of flavour. Lamb ragu is a must try. If you haven’t try them before! This should be your next visit! Make a reservation to secure your seat!
Had a fantastic dinner here. The cocktails set the vibe straight away — the Coco-lada in the coconut cream can was such a fun surprise and genuinely delicious. The food was spot on: crispy salt’n’peppa squid, light spring rolls, a refreshing papaya salad, and the lamb ragu that honestly shouldn’t be this good at a Vietnamese restaurant. Huge standout. The banh xeo and meat platter were the stars — big, bold, full of flavour, and perfect for sharing. Service was warm, atmosphere very Marrickville — relaxed, lively, and full of character. A reliable Inner West favourite. Would happily come back.
