Excellent spot for paella, tapas and many other great Spanish dishes. Friendly and warm staff like a family restaurant. Calamari was super tasty with a big serve but I came for the paella. Good selection of drinks including sangria and Estrella on top. I'm not a fan of the stools outside as I find them uncomfortable but it is nice outside because it's an elevated and covered deck. Definitely a victim of the Marrickville Pause with planes so low that you need to pause your conversation! Also have a private dining room to the side with connecting bathroom.
Had a wonderful experience at Oé Oé Paellas & Tapas in Marrickville. The atmosphere was warm and lively, with a real Spanish feel that made the night special. The tapas were full of flavour, especially the croquettes and patatas bravas, and the paella was rich and authentic. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. A fantastic spot to enjoy good food, sangria, and a relaxed evening with friends or family. Definitely worth visiting if you love Spanish cuisine! We definitely visiting again real soon
A fantastic Spanish restaurant, Michael and his staff were super friendly and professional. The food was well presented and every dish was delicious. You couldn't ask for more , a top class restaurant 🏆🥇
WOW. Just WOW. This place completely blew me away. The food was on another level — every bite was incredible, full of flavor, and honestly some of the best Spanish food I’ve ever had. You can truly taste the quality and passion in every dish. And the service? Absolutely outstanding. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. After living in Australia for 3 years, this is hands down the best customer service experience I’ve had. I have never left a restaurant feeling this happy, satisfied, and impressed. I’m so grateful I chose this place to start my journey in Sydney. If you’re thinking about going… DO IT. Don’t even hesitate. You need to experience this place for yourself. I would eat here every single day if I could! ✨
Hesitant to leave a review as the owner was so lovely, warm and friendly. I really wanted to like this place. Service was great however the food was very disappointing and expensive. Paella needs to be cooked fresh to achieve the sofrito crust. I saw the lady scoop pre cooked paella rice from a container onto the paella pan with seafood then in the oven. All the seafood was overcooked unfortunately. Maybe we came on an off day.
