Excellent spot for paella, tapas and many other great Spanish dishes. Friendly and warm staff like a family restaurant. Calamari was super tasty with a big serve but I came for the paella. Good selection of drinks including sangria and Estrella on top. I'm not a fan of the stools outside as I find them uncomfortable but it is nice outside because it's an elevated and covered deck. Definitely a victim of the Marrickville Pause with planes so low that you need to pause your conversation! Also have a private dining room to the side with connecting bathroom.

Hesitant to leave a review as the owner was so lovely, warm and friendly. I really wanted to like this place. Service was great however the food was very disappointing and expensive. Paella needs to be cooked fresh to achieve the sofrito crust. I saw the lady scoop pre cooked paella rice from a container onto the paella pan with seafood then in the oven. All the seafood was overcooked unfortunately. Maybe we came on an off day.

Dropped by Oe Oe Paellas Tapas in Marrickville with a couple of friends to check out some Spanish eats. The Pulpo à la Gallega was tender and nicely seasoned, while the Croquetas de Chorizo had that perfect creamy center with a crisp coating. Gambas al Ajillo hit the right garlicky notes, and the Chorizo Salamanca y Salchichón paired perfectly with a soft baguette. Wrapped it up with Churros con Chocolate, which were sweet, light, and just enough to share. Portions aren’t massive, but they’re enough for three to try a few dishes and get a good feel for the menu. You can tell this is a family-run spot — everything feels homemade and fresh without trying too hard. A solid casual spot for tapas if you want to share some bites without fuss. What a little gem in the heart of Marrickville. Food was delicious and filling and the Sangria was authentic! The owner was very welcoming and genuine, made you feel like part of his family, well worth a visit to the inner west.

The food was absolutely amazing, authentic spanish flavor. I truly felt right at home. The owners are incredibly welcoming and attentive, which made the experience even more special. Plus, they have live music on Fridays, creating such a lovely atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
