Speedos Cafe is a cafe in North Bondi where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
Overall nice and busy cafe. We visited this one as I saw that it's the most instagrammable cafe on Bondi beach. I wanted to try their famous fluffiest egg sandwich but now they've changed the menu so they don't serve that any more :( Hence we ordered scrambled egg, shak shuka, coffees and hot chocolate with marshmallows. Food is good 👍 😋 Service is fast too.
We stopped by after a coastal walk and had such a lovely experience. The breakfast and coffee were excellent, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made the visit even better. The truffle mushroom dish is a must‑try — light yet satisfying, and full of flavour. If you’re more on the sweet side, the caramelised banana pancake is a fantastic choice. It’s colourful, vibrant, and generously topped with fresh fruit. A great spot to relax and refuel. Highly recommended.
The service is mixed feeling. The waiters were super dooper nice but they hunt me for tips, i think they were pretending to be nice so they can get tips, that makes me slightly irritated. Also when i first went in the guy was gonna give us the seat but there was some randos who came after us but the waiter made them sit first even though we were first, grrrr! the view was nice and the food display and plating, decoration was on top tier. The taste is decent too. Oh yeah the drinks was YUMMY. Peanut nutter was yumyum The marshmallows were really fluffy and lived up to its name, the acai bowl was more than the average taste but there was a LOT of lost potential. :/
Great food and nice beach views. Has multiple vegan options (although not that many). It was busy but surprisingly we were able to get a table quickly. Food is served in a creative beautiful way. Good option if you you're looking for breakfast/brunch around Bondi beach!
Came here after watching Somebody Feed Phil episode introducing Sydney food places. It didn’t disappoint! The fluffy egg sandwich is a must try!
