Terrible service, I arrived at the apartment without any email with the pin key to enter, I tried to contact the numbers indicated in the email without success. Only when I received an automatic email that they were on the weekend did I get the picket number that they managed to help me. I received the response email to the bad experience, one day after check out, without any apology. Very poorly cleaned room, sofa full of stains, apartment full of dust and dirty floor, the toilet pours water. Whenever a bus passes by, the windows and the bed shake. Very noisy area with the bus terminal right next door. Location a little far from the centre, but very noisy by the constant buses. I don't recommend it. Only the decoration is attractive.

I found it difficult to find somewhere appealing for my stay in Sydney. The reviews were good. The Bungalows has a superb location and I enjoyed being in North Bondi. The beach and great restaurants are a stone’s throw away. We enjoyed being able to walk the area. The rooms are sweet but somehow we didn’t get comfortable. Couldn’t find an out-of-the-way spot for our luggage. One of our 2 rooms had a “view” which I think is a stretch and not worth extra money. Note you may need to get your luggage up 3 floors - no lift. We had heavy cases. It’s not a silent area - little bit of noise at times and refuse removal at 4.45am probably because of the restaurants close by but most of the time okay. Our rooms did not face the bus terminal. We had a bad arrival at midnight. We had our key codes for 2 rooms but one door was finicky and wouldn’t open despite numerous attempts. We did not have an emergency number to call and couldn’t find one on any correspondence or in the building. We found a contact number on a QR code inside the room we could access but it linked us to the previous managers - altogether unhelpful and clearly out of date. I find it unacceptable that there is just no-one to contact unless by email. We eventually got into the second room after about 40 minutes, to our relief - nearly piled 4 of us into 1 room out of desperation. This was just a bad start. In addition, shortly before our stay, the managers made an administrative error and refunded us and then charged for it on a later date. The delay meant that we were refunded less than what we originally paid and less than what we were charged on the second round because of exchange rate fluctuations. We have not received any response to our email of complaint. And clearly no offer to compensate to our original expenditure amount on the accommodation. The cleaning staff were sometimes around and they were absolutely unfriendly. All in all, service was a dud. Even for a place that is not serviced to start off with, ease of communication should be a minimum. And their errors should not impact me. I can note that some email communication before our stay not relating to the admin error was friendly and professional. It just wasn’t a joyful stay and I did not feel excited to come back every day. It was really just okay but nothing more and okay-ish I guess for the price (the original one!).

Our stay at Bungalows 11 was amazing. It’s the best location, just literally 5 mins not even to Bondi Beach. The accommodation is so clean, bright and modern. I personally loved having a Nespresso machine and appreciated all the coffee. The service from Bungalows also very quick at communicating and the most helpful and accommodating. There is a great grocery store next door. Coffee shops super close and yummy pizza. Lots of restaurants close by. Also love the public buses are just across the street. I will definitely stay here again the next time I need a place to stay in Bondi. Thank you all so much!

Perfect location in North Bondi - 2 minutes to the beach. Lovely little flat with everything you would need for a short, or in my case longer stay. The customer service team Dantise and Charlotte were great at answering any questions I had and sorting any issues quickly and efficiently. If I’m back in Bondi, this is where I’ll be staying

What an absolutely perfect location. Just enough restaurants and a cool deli to give you all you need without the noise. Catch the 333 right outside the door to Bondi Junction and from there - to anywhere. The bungalow itself was full beach holiday vibe. Gorgeous bathroom and kitchen and comfy bed. Everything was high quality. Gorgeous artworks too by local photographer Eugene Tan. We even went to Aquabumps and bought the photograph in our room! Perfect holiday.
