I really loved my stay at The Bungalows, it was so relaxing and kicked back, I felt like it was my own home. I slept so well, the bed was more comfortable than my own! Great to have a garage to park the car as street parking in Bondi can be so expensive and tedious to find, I saved so much precious time everyday by driving straight into the garage that came with the apartment. So close to Bondi beach for cruisy strolls with my dog and so spoiled for choice with shops, groceries and restaurants. The quiet communal tropical style garden with an outdoor shower under the palm trees and canopied seating area was beautiful, I spent a few hours in all in the garden having a peaceful time. Great to know that profits from The Bungalows go to a charity for women and children! Will be back soon. Love it💛

Terrible service, I arrived at the apartment without any email with the pin key to enter, I tried to contact the numbers indicated in the email without success. Only when I received an automatic email that they were on the weekend did I get the picket number that they managed to help me. I received the response email to the bad experience, one day after check out, without any apology. Very poorly cleaned room, sofa full of stains, apartment full of dust and dirty floor, the toilet pours water. Whenever a bus passes by, the windows and the bed shake. Very noisy area with the bus terminal right next door. Location a little far from the centre, but very noisy by the constant buses. I don't recommend it. Only the decoration is attractive.

I LOVED staying here!! The location in north Bondi was perfect - walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants/shops. Its also close to numerous bus stops to get around the city. The apartment itself was very bright, clean, homey, and well maintained. Felt very safe too as a female traveling alone. The check in/out process was seamless, and the team was very accommodating and easy o get in touch with. James was especially great and responsive! Would 100% stay here again, and im usually pretty picky!

The bungalows were the perfect choice for my stay in Bondi. So perfect that I ended up staying there twice a month apart! The manager of the Bungalows, James, was incredibly kind, helpful, and always responded quickly. The location is about a 7 minute walk to the central part of Bondi where the beach, shops and restaurants are. It’s also conveniently located right next to the bus stops. For both of my stays my room was facing the street and I had no issue with noise at all, and couldn’t hear anything at night. The bungalows come with a kitchen, including a stove and oven, and a laundry machine. There’s also a little grocery store next door that I stopped at every day for fresh fruit etc. Overall, I had a lovely experience and would highly recommend!

I found it difficult to find somewhere appealing for my stay in Sydney. The reviews were good. The Bungalows has a superb location and I enjoyed being in North Bondi. The beach and great restaurants are a stone’s throw away. We enjoyed being able to walk the area. The rooms are sweet but somehow we didn’t get comfortable. Couldn’t find an out-of-the-way spot for our luggage. One of our 2 rooms had a “view” which I think is a stretch and not worth extra money. Note you may need to get your luggage up 3 floors - no lift. We had heavy cases. It’s not a silent area - little bit of noise at times and refuse removal at 4.45am probably because of the restaurants close by but most of the time okay. Our rooms did not face the bus terminal. We had a bad arrival at midnight. We had our key codes for 2 rooms but one door was finicky and wouldn’t open despite numerous attempts. We did not have an emergency number to call and couldn’t find one on any correspondence or in the building. We found a contact number on a QR code inside the room we could access but it linked us to the previous managers - altogether unhelpful and clearly out of date. I find it unacceptable that there is just no-one to contact unless by email. We eventually got into the second room after about 40 minutes, to our relief - nearly piled 4 of us into 1 room out of desperation. This was just a bad start. In addition, shortly before our stay, the managers made an administrative error and refunded us and then charged for it on a later date. The delay meant that we were refunded less than what we originally paid and less than what we were charged on the second round because of exchange rate fluctuations. We have not received any response to our email of complaint. And clearly no offer to compensate to our original expenditure amount on the accommodation. The cleaning staff were sometimes around and they were absolutely unfriendly. All in all, service was a dud. Even for a place that is not serviced to start off with, ease of communication should be a minimum. And their errors should not impact me. I can note that some email communication before our stay not relating to the admin error was friendly and professional. It just wasn’t a joyful stay and I did not feel excited to come back every day. It was really just okay but nothing more and okay-ish I guess for the price (the original one!).
