Marks Park is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Bondi Beach with an off-leash area where dogs can stretch their legs off lead and plenty of shade, with some time-based restrictions in place. Just 350m away, Tamarama Point is a great nearby spot to grab a coffee with your pup.

Dog rules

Timed off-leash: 4:30pm to 8:30am daily, except during Sculptures by the Sea event. Dogs must be on a leash outside of these times. Prohibited: bushland areas; within 10 metres of children's playground. (Source: Waverley Council — waverley.nsw.gov.au)

Mark Park features lush green lawns with a stunning view straight out to the ocean. It’s a perfect spot to relax, picnic and enjoy the scenery, and you’ll often see lots of adorable dogs playing around. A truly chill and charming place to visit in Sydney

A really easy and beautiful walk up from Bondi Beach. The views are stunning and totally worth the short climb. Just a heads-up : it can get very windy up there! Great little stop if you’re exploring the coastal walk.

2025’s Sculptures by the Sea had several iconic entries and was a lovely walk starting from Taramara Beach to Bondi. Part of the path from this park to Bondi was closed due to erosion, but still made for a memorable walk with strong winds.

Saw the exhibits of the 2025 Sculptures By The Sea at Marks Park, Bondi ... varied exhibits ranging from a stylized representation of envy to an imaginative haven, again, to an invitation to contemplate the ever-present tussle between the utopian-dystopian argument today ... very stimulating, indeed ... food for thought if you have that sort of hunger in you ... then again it's good enough even for a day out to mingle with other beings ! There is a programme being handed out to thise lucky (or early) enough to snare one, cataloguing the sculptors and a synopsis of their presentations.

Marks Park is one of the most beautiful, breathtaking, atmospheric places to visit here in Bondi! It’s about a 15 min walk up to the viewpoint and once you’re there, you’ll be captured by the sun on the horizon, the foamy white waters splashing against the hard rock wall and cliff walls. There’s plenty of space here to do yoga and physical activities!
