Rowland Reserve
Rowland Reserve is a calm, waterfront area known for its shallow water, making it well suited to dogs that are learning to swim or prefer gentler conditions.
A narrow stretch of sand extends into the water, creating a natural gathering point where dogs and owners tend to cluster, especially later in the day. It's a popular local spot and works particularly well around sunset, with a relaxed, social feel.

What people say
Dog friendly, good scenery, peaceful waters
Beautiful dog park. Lots of space and kept very tidy. Bonus beach for a doggy swim
Really beautiful beach spot for my little pug boy to play. Tons of friendly dogs and a large water shelf with 1 foot deep calm water. Perfect for my dog who is timid around water if there are even tiny waves. He feels super safe here and is happy to go right in!
It's a perfect way to roll into a Sunday morning 🌄 Coffee Van ☕️ Dogs running free across reserve and sand bar.
A great place to go for dogs and their owners! Off-leash, grassy, waves lapping the shoreline-what more could a dog pant for?
