Beach Paddock is a small, quiet green space that forms part of the Vaucluse estate, usually uncrowded. Dogs are welcome on-leash, kept clear of playgrounds and food areas, and it is an easy spot for a short walk near the water. It is on the small side, so it suits a gentle stroll rather than a long run. A low-key on-leash park by the estate.
Dogs must be under effective control and on a leash at all times in all public places, except in designated off-leash areas. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's playground equipment and food preparation areas, from school grounds, child care centres, and indoor shopping centres. Dog faeces must be removed immediately. (Source: Woollahra Council — Walking Your Dog, woollahra.nsw.gov.au.)
I had a quick swim 🏊♂️ and patted a few dogs, Beach Beach is part of the Vaucluse estate
It's a nice place when it's not crowded (it usually isn't). But it is a bit small for most activities, such as dogs-off-lead, sport, parties. However, it is a wonderful place to set-off on a kayaking/rowing trip. The tide comes in and out a long way owing to a very shallow gradient. Stingrays can commonly be seen here if you wade 20m or so out.
Lovely bay to take a dip and relax. Very calm and nice outlook. No facilities. Bring your own chairs or picnic rugs
My mum and I were driving around for ages trying to find a quiet spot by the water and enjoy a picnic under some shadey trees. We were so happy we found this spot!! Hardly anyone around.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
