Like this beach due to proximity and the nice walk towards Bondi on one side and the other beaches on the other. Small and cozy. I have included pictures of the walk towards Bondi as the beach itself has beem shot to death and back. Parking is tricky and little cafe is available right there with overpriced items. As expected.
A secluded pocket of beach. Feels remote and isolated but there are public barbecue grills so might be a good place for family & friend get-togethers. There are still some construction going on and the shower booths/ toilets are temporary containers. The waves are absolutely savage though. So not really best for the mix of dips and breaks and chilling with friends. I'd rather go elsewhere.
Turquoise waters and welcoming vibe. A small beach in between two big beaches, Bondi and Coogee. If you want a smaller crowd it is the choice. Accessible also via bus. If you are tired from walking the coast trek you can stop at Tamarama and take the bus to Coogee.
Tamarama Beach has become one of my favourite spots in Sydney. It’s small, but that actually makes it feel more special — almost like a hidden little cove between the cliffs. The water is unbelievably clear, and the whole place is kept really clean. I love sitting on the grassy area just above the sand; it’s the perfect spot to relax and take in the view. The waves can get pretty strong, but the lifeguards are always on top of things. It’s quieter than Bondi and feels a bit more local, which I really like. Every visit there feels like a mini escape.
Another nice beach on the coastal walk with a good stretch of sand and facilities. Spoilt for choice around here. Blue sky and blue sea. A perfect match.
