The manager lady is a real Karen loved exercising her power over having a small dog sitting quietly at entrance . We always come to this place and never an issue ??! The way she went about it was not nice at all, more so when the dog was sitting near door... and the shop was empty! goes to show that it was ll about being a Karen and not about the dog!
Great little vegan and gluten free friendly cafe with lots of grab and go options. FOOD: Great selection of gf and vegan muffins, slices, acai bowls etc. All prepared fresh and with high quality ingredients. They also have a great range of fresh juices. STAFF: Efficient, not overly friendly but ok. ACCESSIBILITY: Not wheelchair, walker or pram friendly. Although they may allow you to order from outside. It would be friendly for those with dogs who wanted to grab a cuppa and sit outside. Would recommend if you're after a healthy and wholesome cafe meal or take away option to sit by the water.
Consistently the worlds slowest service. To the point where there is no point going to this cafe. Shame as the food is yum.
Okay... so I can't comment on the food or drink because I didn't get to try any of it. I can only comment on the customer service at this stage. Although I am hoping it was just a bad day and I will make another attempt so I can update regarding the food/drinks. I just wanted to grab a quick ready made item from the fridge and as I approached the store there were 4 people sitting outside, one had just sat down with a bowl, there were also 3 people at the counter inside, but as I went to step into the store a staff member just rudely stated we're closed and blocked the entry. When I pointed out there were customers ordering inside and I literally just wanted to grab a single ready made from the fridge and could tap-n-go in seconds she just said we close at 230 at then shut the door in my face and locked it. I didn't realise that it closed so early and I arrived right on 230 so it was technically closing time, just. I have worked in hospitality so I can understand after a busy day wanting to get everything squared away on closing time. But it was very rude and she didn't need to be so unfriendly about it. There are nice ways to decline service. Seems like they don't care if a customer wants to return to their store. Thankfully I have 2 other branches close by.
Best option for a healthy and light snack. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere in the store is pleasant.
