Great pub right on the beach. An sit and look at the water while having a beer. Happy hour on Monday arvos is great, cheap beers. Good pool table area and gaming. Beer garden is huge, great spot to sit and eat with large groups. Food is expensive but nice.

Amazing service, especially matty and ciarda - absolute legends. Both deserve their flowers for their expert bartending and amazing customer service. Both created an amazing night for me and my group with their lovely nature. Would highly recommend.

The pub has changed a bit since my last visit many years ago. But the bistro area was bright and lively. The food was simple but tasty. My hokeye was fresh and enormous. My partner's schnitzel was also a decent size and quite good. Could have been a little more adventurous with the salad and chips. But overall we enjoyed our meals and the venue. Can't comment on the rooms as we only stopped in for lunch.

coogee bay hotel has officially stepped up its game with the brand-new beach bar & dining — and it’s honestly the highlight of my week. the space overlooks coogee beach, making it the perfect spot for a summer date, drinks with friends, or a relaxed family lunch. my must-order dishes? garlic honey pizza (simple but mind-blowing, like garlic bread but better), passionfruit cheesecake, the ceviche, the aged scotch fillet, and vanella buffalo mozzarella — this lineup gives you the full experience. everything is fresh, generous, and full of flavour. plus, it’s surprisingly not expensive for the quality and location. executive chef justin schott (ex-mimi’s) is behind the menu — so you know it’s good. absolutely worth a visit this summer.

It was the first time since 2018 that I have been here. Now I remember why. It's very noisy with an obnoxious crowd. Many people seem intoxicated and therefore vape in the areas where food is served. The demographic there is odd and uncomfortable. The bathrooms were extremely dirty, even at 530pm. On the upside, the pizza was good and the nacho portion much larger than expected.
