Goldstein Reserve is a grassed park above Coogee Beach, with BBQ facilities, shade and sheltered spots for a meal by the water. Dogs are welcome on-leash here, though they are not permitted on the beach or in the rock pools. It is an easy place to pause on the Bronte to Coogee coastal walk, with toilets and the beachfront close by. A relaxed on-leash stop with a fine coastal outlook.
Dogs are welcome on leash. They're not allowed on beaches or rock pools, at schools, in playgrounds or shopping centres, or on sports-field playing surfaces. Keep your dog under control and follow signs on site. (Source: Randwick.)

Nice park with lots of birds hopping from tree to tree. We saw rainbow lorikeets, noisy miners and red wattlebirds. There is a free public toilet here. The reserve is on a slope. It can get very windy especially in winter. There are memorials here for victimes of the Bali bombing.
Goldstein Reserve is the parkland located immediately adjacent to Coogee Beach. It has spectacular ocean views to Wedding Cake Island and the headlands at either end of the beach. The reserve is flat with picnic shelters, barbecues,, seating, open grassed areas and maturing shade trees. The promenade running through the reserve provides a direct link to the beach and is used by walkers, joggers and sightseers, Goldstein Park was full of of people enjoying the Christmas 🎄 activities 😀
Right on the beach giving a buffer from the retail buildings. Plenty of seats and lots of grass to share. The great vistas of Coogee all round.
On a beautiful Sydney day, (if you're facing the ocean) walk left towards the north end of Coogee and keep on going. You'll get some amazing views and if you're there the right time of year, you'll see whales!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
