Dog rules

Designated off-leash dog exercise area. Dogs may be exercised off-leash at all times but must remain under effective control of a competent person. Dogs are not permitted on Council's beaches, rock pools, schools and pre-schools, children's playgrounds, shopping centres, or playing surfaces of sports fields. Dog owners must clean up after their dogs. Penalties apply for failing to remove dog waste. A quiet park at the back on the cemetery. Quite dirty, and a lot of dog poo around the park including the odd used syringe. Quite disappointing the council do no clean this up as often as other parks!!
