Welcoming enough. The staff tried to tell me it doesn't matter what whiskey you use in a whiskey sour. Regulars claiming to be on dexies and repeatedly saying it's a molecule away from speed or meth (we get it, and a filter switch is just one flick from off) were kinda nosy, didn't really respect my privacy, and a bore, but the place has a good atmosphere. Try maturing your ingredients slightly but still retaining the brightness and acidity of cocktails.

This is a locals place where everyone is welcome. Live music on Sundays. Food is great, burgers are raved about by the locals, but the cocktails are the draw (and probably the ambiance). Comfortable tables or sit at the bar. You can only hope you become a regular and get a name plate screwed to the bar. The duck in the menu was a new monthly special. Not bad and not disappointed but the gravy was too thick, a bit salty, and the duck not as tender as I hoped. Next time the burger! The bar staff were amazing and as an American that rarely sees real candles for ambiance it was a real treat to be welcomed today.

the venue has always been in the back of my mind, and finally i have made my way here after a few years! and i have zero regrets. what a gem of a venue; cosy, warm fittings, lip-smacking drinks, and really good food. drinks were truly delicious and creative. that includes the Gibson (a martini variant which includes pickled onions, which we've never ever had), who would've thought we'd love it that much! the bar also makes amazing food to complement their formidable drinks offerings. the Cheeseburger (a signature, as I was told), was juicy, fresh, and hearty - yet, I was tempted to do another serve. also do not miss out on their tender and flavoursome beef skewers... just yum! i also truly enjoyed the service. though an extremely lax venue exuded by the overall atmosphere, service was professional, warm, and attentive. it felt very sincere and i liked the energy of the staff a lot. thanks team! cannot believe i was never here any earlier, but now i know what i have truly missed out on. you will see my face again soon.

A cool venue. Although they seriously don’t know how to make a martini and I have made many so not hard. The martini was too warm in temperature and served in a very ordinary glass. 10 stars for staff in friendliness although doubt if they have trained in cocktail making

A beautifully cosy little spot, calm, intimate and full of charm. The atmosphere was serene and peaceful, perfect for conversation without the usual bar chaos. We tried a wide variety of cocktails and even asked the mixologist to create one tailored to my taste, he nailed it. Every drink felt thoughtfully made and balanced. It’s the kind of place you could easily lose track of time in, sipping slowly and enjoying the mood. Highly recommend for anyone after a relaxed, quality cocktail experience.
