Rushcutters Bay Park is a popular harbourside park with open lawns and a cafe on site. Dogs are off-leash here between 3:30pm and 10:30am seven days a week, and on-leash in between, with the oval, playground and tennis courts excluded. It is a favourite with local dog owners, especially in the mornings and evenings, with toilets and parking on hand. A relaxed, scenic spot for a walk by the water around the off-leash hours.
Dog off-leash allowed between 3:30pm and 10:30am seven days a week. Not allowed in Reg Bartley Oval Waratah Reserve Playground and Tennis Courts Listed in the City of Sydney dog off-leash areas program.
What can I say. Fabulous park dog friendly. Off leash certain hours on leash 24/7. I would think most of the residents bring their dogs there each day for exercise. And the view of the bay is an added bonus. The kiosk in the park is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy either a meal, snack, delicious cake and one of the best coffees around or a freshly prepared juice. Of course there are many other selections.
A beautiful place to relax and to take family as well friends. Most days there's a cafe. BTW there is a place for kids to play . Of course there is a toilet..
The playground equipment is geared toward children under 5. One slide, two swings, small rope climber. Park benches for parents. Street parking. Small grassy area for free play.

The park has two sportsfields that cater for cricket, rugby union and soccer, and it has an outdoor personal fitness station. It is also a great place to enjoy a picnic on a sunny day or have a coffee at the parks next to the playground.! Its also a short walk to Edgecliff shopping centre
