Frenchy's Cafe is a dog-friendly cafe in Mosman. Around 1000 metres away, Balmoral Beach is also a great nearby beach for a swim with your dog.
What a fantastic spot for breakfast or lunch. The food was delicious with a french twist on most meals. I had the eggs Benedict with a slice of french toast. Great coffee and very dog friendly. Loads of room. I will definitely be back. 😄
Pure Bliss! My Favorite Hidden Gem I cannot recommend Frenchy’s Café enough. It truly is a little slice of France tucked away in a beautiful, scenic setting. It manages to be both chic and incredibly welcoming at the same time. The coffee is excellent, the food is rustic and simple yet beautifully balanced and the selection of pastries are divine. The peaceful environment makes it the perfect place to recharge and I love they are dog-welcoming and friendly. A rare find that I find myself returning to again and again.
Had such great quality time at Frenchy's Cafe! The avo mash and fruit waffle were fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. The drinks were perfect too. Loved the whole experience.
We have been visiting this little cafe for many years but had not been back for a while. We never ate our food - we left before it arrived, as the rudeness from the staff was unbelievable . I rated the food from previous experiences. To be fair food can be ok. We were however, warned about how Frenchy's cafe has slipped, and how dreadful the staff can be. But I didn't believe them. We visited on a beautiful day (we both had the day off work) and thought it would be a nice place to revisit given we have friends who own businesses nearby. After paying for our meal, we were grunted at whilst getting our sparkling bottled water, then asking for a glass .... again grunted at again by the man at the cash register. Then we were told by a surly waitress that our glasses were the plastic cups that were available for the free tap water. Again more of a grunt and motion towards the dirty looking plastic cups that did not look properly cleaned. The energy from the staff was just horrible so we left before our food came out. The whole experience was awful. Thankfully to lift our spirits we went on to enjoy a lunch across the bridge at another friend's cafe, who also has a French style cafe. I don't like to leave negative reviews but the owners really should know about the staff so they can hopefully revive Frenchy's back to being the sweet little place it used to be.
Goes for a “Holiday surcharge” on a Saturday. Burger was unremarkable; $25. Watermelon juice was more water and ice than juice; $12. With the“holiday” and debit card surcharges, this was over $40. Would love to see a better cafe in this location. These people clearly have a business model of “overcharge wherever possible” instead of just doing a good job for a fair price. So, I don’t think they’re worth supporting.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
