Wonderful day out for families or take a book, relax and read, walk along the esplanade. Lots of options. Lovely beach areas not over crowded when I went, (it was during school holidays). Nice cafe and restaurants. Good clean toilet and shower facilities.

This is the favourite beach for many locals and I can see why. Clean soft sand. Somewhere safe to swim. Nice cafes. Relaxed vibe and less crowded. Easy bus ride from the zoo.

A lovely beach ⛱️🏖️ ⛵ 🌊 in a very nice neighborhood of Sydney. The water is calm. The overall environment of the place is great. There are many places to eat and enjoy your day. The gardens surrounding the beach arae are also well kept. I saw wild turkeys trotting about - its good that the city council has allowed the birds to roam freely. There is an islet that can be explored via a bridge. The beach was not crowded.
